New website to drive high education quality and student choice
Federal Member for O’Connor Rick Wilson MP today welcomed the launch of the Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching – or QILT – website by Minister for Education the Hon Christopher Pyne MP.
Mr Wilson said QILT offers local school students access to independent information on the performance of higher education institutions, bringing together survey data from students at all Australian universities about their experiences and graduate job outcomes.
“The easy to use website allows students around Australia to compare institutions and study areas based on feedback from current and former students,” Mr Wilson said.
“This is a great new online tool that will help local students and their families make informed choices about their higher education options.
“I am pleased local students are now able to find out more about study options that are right for them.
“I encourage all local students to use the QILT website to inform their future study options.
“The Australian Government is committed to encouraging a world-class education system that gets students the best results and giving them information and choice is a big part of this.”
