  • a million-dollar infrastructure boost in 2021 that included refurbishing Bridgetown Railway Station, installing a new bore, pump and pipework at the Bridgetown Lawn Tennis clubhouse and upgrades to Blackwood River Foreshore Park;
  • $460,521 to enhance an existing skate park;
  • $4000 to help the RSL Greenbushes sub-branch commemorate the service and sacrifice of women and men who served Australia and its allies in wars, conflicts and peace operations;
  • $2931 to help the Blackwood Environment Society purchase equipment to monitor native fauna, and train residents to use the equipment.


I was inspired to run for Parliament following my involvement in a decade-long campaign to deregulate the wheat industry, which brought about the end of the Australian Wheat Board’s monopoly.
