  • $2,139,309 toward revitalising the Merredin town square;
  • $1,147,470 toward a major redevelopment of Apex Park, including extending the skate park, creating a youth hangout spot, installing new playground equipment, and barbecues, picnic spots and shelters;
  • $282,000 for improvements to South Avenue;
  • $156,000 for improvements to the intersection of Woolgar Avenue and Throssell Street;
  • $106,900 for improvements to infrastructure at Merredin cemetery.


I was inspired to run for Parliament following my involvement in a decade-long campaign to deregulate the wheat industry, which brought about the end of the Australian Wheat Board’s monopoly.
