  • a million-dollar infrastructure boost in 2021 that included upgrades to Mount Barker Memorial Swimming Pool and Mount Barker Hill Lookout;
  • $300,000 to landscape a section of Albany Highway in Mount Barker;
  • $150,000 to improve toilets at Kendenup Hall;
  • $12,975 to upgrade the Old Police Station Museum;
  • $2500 to refurbish, and buy new toys for, the Mount Barker toy library.


I was inspired to run for Parliament following my involvement in a decade-long campaign to deregulate the wheat industry, which brought about the end of the Australian Wheat Board’s monopoly.
