  • $1,130,000 for Waratah Lodge to upgrade its aged care infrastructure;
  • $180,000 toward redeveloping Wetlands Park to provide a safe and family friendly area for the community and visitors;
  • $136,700 for painting, improvements and a new shed at Wagin’s historical village to house memorabilia for the community and visitors to view;
  • $25,000 to paint and upgrade Wagin’s best-known landmark, the giant ram;
  • $20,000 to upgrade Wagin War Memorial


I was inspired to run for Parliament following my involvement in a decade-long campaign to deregulate the wheat industry, which brought about the end of the Australian Wheat Board’s monopoly.
