Delivering for O'Connor

It's a privilege to have delivered fantastic outcomes for our community in O'Connor through Volunteer Grants. I am proud to support these local organisations that continue to work hard in our community.

Blackwood Environment Society

With funding from this grant, the Blackwood Environment Society (BES) wishes to provide our volunteer workforce with up to date nursery safe practices, propagation and hygiene protocols, seed collecting, and storage training, enabling the BES to continue running an efficient, productive, and safe Community Nursery.

Walpole CRC

This project is thank a Volunteer day (TAVD) in Walpole. The day will consist of Blessing of the Fleet, Market Stalls, Volunteer Group Information Stalls, Guest speakers, Live Music/Entertainment, Lunch and Fuel Voucher presentations.

Ports Football Club

The training is important to the club to upskill their hardworking and committed volunteers - improve club structure so they can share the load to prevent burnout; recruit and retain more volunteers; grow membership, sponsorship and participation; use technology to take the pressure off volunteers; improve club culture and community engagement.
